Created by UQAM, the Cœur des sciences is a scientific cultural center whose mission is to contribute to the development of the scientific culture of the general public and to the promotion of this scientific culture as an integral part of culture. A venue for scientists but also for artists, it offers a variety of activities such as conferences, debates, shows, film screenings, urban walks, excursions, workshops and exhibitions.
Vivek Venkatesh will be speaking at noon on 26 July, 2017 on “Déconstruire la haine, mot à mot” (Deconstructing hate, word for word). The public talk takes place at Square Phillips (corner Ste-Catherine and Union, towards the statue) – McGill metro. In event of rain, the talk will be cancelled.
