🎉 Big news!  Project Someone is relaunching “From Hate to Hope”––our massive open online course (MOOC)––this January! This course aims to prevent hate and radicalization by facilitating public education and providing tangible strategies to build resilience & awareness.

👉 “From Hate to Hope” is a free, interactive, non-credit course. Designed with diverse participants in mind, this MOOC dives into online hate, radicalization and advocacy, and addresses hot topics like #fakenews, #filterbubbles and tactics used by hate groups.
.
📆 The course will run in French and English from January 9 to February 17, 2023. It is primarily asynchronous, with the exception of 4 exciting live sessions facilitated by Dr. Vivek Venkatesh and Dr. Nykkie Lugosi-Schimpf.
.
👩‍💻 These sessions provide an opportunity for students to come together and pose questions to experts in the field.

Ce cours vise à prévenir la haine et la radicalisation en facilitant léducation publique et en fournissant des stratégies concrètes pour renforcer la résilience et la sensibilisation.

👉 Le CLOM est gratuit, interactif & sans crédit. Conçu avec des participant.e.s diversifié.e.s à lesprit, il examine la haine, la radicalisation & le plaidoyer en ligne, et aborde des sujets brûlants comme les #faussesnouvelles et les bulles de filtres.
.
📆 Le cours se déroulera en français et en anglais du 9 janvier au 17 février 2023. Il est principalement asynchrone, à lexception de 4 sessions en direct animées par le Dr Vivek Venkatesh et la Dre Nykkie Lugosi-Schimpf.
