Project SOMEONE Collaborator Helps NCSS Address Mass Shootings in the US

Project SOMEONE collaborator and Concordia University Department of Education Horizon Postdoctoral Fellow, Dan Mamlok, was recently invited the National Council for the Social Studies to help in delineating a response to the rampant mass shootings in the US. The statement by the NCSS highlights the importance of educating youth with the support of innovative and new social studies resources and creating dialogue that tackles problematic ideologies leading to extremism and violence, as well as encouraging civic competence.
