Digital citizens of Tomorrow

This workshop targets school teachers and is titled Digital citizens of Tomorrow. Five workshops took place from July to October 2018 with teachers who have an impact on secondary stakeholders in schools all over Lebanon.

The learning objectives of this workshop were:

  • the characteristics of digital citizens, their rights and responsibilities
  • critical digital media literacy skills
  • how to communicate and collaborate online while being respectful of diversity
  • how to use social media for civic engagement

Digital Empowerment

This workshop targets social workers and is titled Digital Empowerment. Four workshops took place in September and October 2018 with participating social workers.

  • critical thinking skills for enhanced online resilience
  • how to develop a sense of digital empathy
  • how to use social media for civic engagement

This workshop targets social media activists and aspiring journalists and is titled Online Media and the Critical Thinker. Six workshops were conducted in October and November 2018.

The learning objectives of this workshop were:

  • about the dynamics of online hate
  • how to identify online propaganda and manipulation techniques
  • critical digital media literacy skills
  • how to use social media for advocacy and resiliency

This workshop targets university professors and it titled Web 2.0: A Platform for Peace (not Hate.

One workshop took place in October 2018.
